Stevensville, MI (May 8, 2008) - It is time to begin planning for the fall SMMS soccer season. The legwork needs to be done now so we can put our schedule together for the fall season. The following information will help expedite the organization of our fall season.
Talk to your students prior to the close of this school year to get an idea of their level of interest. This year we need your home field address.

League prepares for 2007 girls spring season
Stevensville, MI (February 9, 2007) - Plans are being made now to ensure a successful girls middle school spring soccer season. At this time it looks like the league will have nine teams. Teams so far are Michigan Lutheran, Lake Michigan Catholic, Christ Lutheran, Lakeshore, Upton (two teams), Niles, South Haven and River Valley.
If there are any other teams interested, please contact league president Denny Kern as soon as possible.

Arden, MI (February 17, 2006) - An organizational meeting for the SW Mich. Middle School Girls' Soccer League will be held Thurs., Mar. 9 at the St. Joe Kickers Club in Arden at 7pm. So far five teams have committed teams for the girls' season. If you are interested in forming a team or have questions contact league president Denny Kern at bethclc@yahoo.com.
Spring Girls league organization begins
Arden, MI (January 13, 2006) - The Southwest Michigan Middle School Soccer League has begun planning for their first annual girl's soccer league. It was decided back on Nov. 3, 2005 to offer this opportunity also to Jr. High girls in the Spring of 2006. The league will be using the same format that was used for the co-ed league this past fall.
League President, Denny Kern, is asking for assistance in finding out who would be interested in participating in this league. Christ Lutheran will have one team. The league is seeking 10 - 12 teams that would play between April 10th and May 22nd. This would allow each team to have a 10 - 12 game schedule. Please relay this information by the end of January by contacting Kern at bethclc@yahoo.com.
The next league meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 9th at the Kicker's Club beginning at 7:00 P.M.
The League's purpose is to provide interplay of Middle/Junior High School and club teams of the appropriate age. Teams playing in the 2005 fall season are shown below.
