Kalamazoo, MI (May 21, 2008) - The Kalmazoo Outrage PDL side are delighted to announce that Terry Alvino was today named in the United Soccer Leagues PDL team of the week.

In doing so the experienced defender becomes the first ever Outrage player to achieve such an honor in just the first week of the franchise's inaugural season.

Speaking from the clubs Drake Rd training ground the humble St Louis born defender played down his early achievement "It's not about individual awards for me it's about the team's results. We have had a very encouraging start to the season and we all need to keep the good stuff going".

Outrage PDL head coach Stu Riddle was pleased for Alvino and the club "Terrence has been a rock in the heart of our defence and I'm very happy for him that the league has recognized his performances. It's another feather in this brand new club's cap and all of our players should be striving for an honor like this every game they play in".

According to Riddle a number of other players could also have been included by the league in the team of the week "We have had 2 excellent goalkeeping displays and the back 4 have been exceptional in both our games to date. I've no doubt we will have more players picking up these type of honors as the season progresses".
